Municipal Advisory Financial Analyst (IA)
LOCATION: Waterloo, IOWA

SUMMARY
Position will provide general support to senior leadership. The office functions as a team environment and the ideal candidate must have a team mentality and be an industrious self-starter. Must have a strong fundamental understanding of financial concepts, fixed income regulatory requirements and compliance obligations of the the Municipal Advisory industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Analyst will attend client meetings and conferences, schedule calls, respond to 'Requests For Proposals (RFP's), and maintain a complex system of records, databases, deal lists and deal files that result in a complete and evident audit trail; create and develop financial models, spreadsheets and summaries including marketing and sales materials; prepare comprehensive and accurate documentation of transactions, distribution lists and event schedule lists; research projects and compile market data reports; analyze client financial statements and build models; structure, debt capacity and credit profiles; monitor existing client debt obligations, review audits, operating budgets and insurance certifications; evaluate underwriting and cash flow projections and new tax-exempt transaction issues; identify potential financing opportunities; and provide credit rating recommendations for projects.
REQUIREMENTS
4 year degree
Excellent communication skills, a self-starter attitude
Transaction and client relationship management
Excel in time management, multi-tasking and task prioritization
PREFERRED+
4 year degree in finance, accounting, management, public administration.
2+ years of experience
MA 50 by September 2017
