The Public Finance Investment Banking Associate will work closely with senior bankers to originate, structure, and execute municipal bond financings for public entities. This role involves developing and maintaining client relationships, conducting financial analysis, and managing transaction execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Originate new business opportunities and manage existing client relationships to generate revenue for the firm.

• Develop and maintain financial models to support the structuring and execution of municipal bond financings for public entities.

• Prepare pitch books, offering documents, and other client presentations to support business development efforts and marketing initiatives.

• Lead the due diligence process and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of transactions.

• Manage junior team members and delegate tasks as needed to ensure successful transaction execution.

• Interact with rating agencies, underwriters, and other external stakeholders on behalf of clients.

• Monitor industry trends and provide strategic advice to clients based on market conditions and financial analysis.

• Support the development of marketing materials and participate in industry conferences and events.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, finance, or related field.

• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and clients.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.

• Ability to lead and manage junior team members.

• Knowledge of municipal finance and bond markets is preferred, but not required.

• Series 79 and 63 licenses (or the ability to obtain them within a reasonable period) are required.
